Rudolf the Black Cat

Based on the best-selling Japanese children’s book series “Rudorufu to ippai attena”, “Rudolf: The Black Cat” tells the bittersweet story of a young housecat whose desire to explore beyond the gates of his home leads him on an incredible adventure of discovery that will change his life forever.

As Sprite’s first CG feature film, “Rudolf: The Black Cat” represents a new height for the collaborative relationship with OLM Digital that begin with the 2013 TV series “Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures”.  For this project, Sprite handled the preproduction as well as the overall direction and supervision.  We are very proud to announce that this film was nominated for Best Animated Film at the 40th Japan Academy Prize.
